About Us

We are a team of friends and families that have been through Spiritual Abuse ourselves. We are not here as perfect people with some fancy degrees with no experience to make money off you. We are down to earth children of God who have been hurt and wounded by Spiritual Abuse and who have escaped, healed, and want to reach out and help support others who are going through it as well. However, many of us have pursued our education in the field of Spiritual Abuse, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Doctorates in Ministry and Divinity, and Addiction Recovery.

Several articles have been submitted by other victims and if you have a testimony of spiritual abuse and/or your healing journey that you would like to share you can contact us here.

We created Spiritual Abuse Awareness to let you know:
-You're not alone. There are millions of victims in the world who don't know how to explain what they've been through, that are looking for answers and support.
-We believe you. We won't label you as rebellious, bitter, or uneducated.
-You're not crazy. Mental abuse tends to make you feel as though you are, but there is help and support to walk you through sorting those thoughts out.

What we can't do for you:
-We can't diagnose you nor offer any medical treatment.
-We are not a substitute for a mental evaluation. Just a resource to provide you with information to help you on your journey.
-We can't tell you what decisions to make. We can offer suggestions, resources, and links to other helpful sites, but your decision is yours alone.
-We can't take responsibility for anything that happens in your life.

If you have thoughts of suicide or harming yourself, call 911 or go to a local mental health provider for evaluation. Never be afraid to reach out to them for help.1-800-273-TALK (Mental Health America)
